Ragdoll Colors and Patterns

PATTERNS

Colorpoint

dark points on the ears, tail, face and feet with the body being a lighter shade

Mitted

lighter body like the colorpoint but has white mittens on the front legs, white boots on the back legs, and a white chin and stripe down the belly

Bi-Color

dark points on the ears and tail but the face mask is an inverted white “V” running between the eyes and into the muzzle. The body color forms a saddle on the cat’s back while the stomach and legs are white

Lynx

(also known as tabby) – striping overlaid on the color/pattern

Tortie

tri-colored pattern, one of which is always orange. Also always female!

Torbie

a mix of both tortie and lynx

COLORS

Seal

dark brown points with a tan body

Blue

blue-ish gray points with a pale gray body

Chocolate

body is ivory with points a light seal, paw pads and nose brownish-pink

Lilac

body is white with points of pale gray with pink toes

Red

(also known as flame) – body is a creamy white tone with deep orange points

Cream

body is creamy white with points of deep cream- basically a light red

Blue Eyed White

(aka BEW) Just as it sounds, a pure white coat with the blue eyes of a traditional Ragdoll

Mink

comes in any color previously mentioned but the color is “extra dark.” Eye color is registered as aqua (somewhere between green and blue) rather than the true blue of traditional Ragdolls
