How to Adopt a Jazzmania Kitten

The total adoption fee for a Ragdoll kitten of the traditional colors and patterns is $1000. Traditional colors and patterns include the blue and seal mitted and colorpoints, bi-colors, torties, lynxes, and flames. $1100 is the adoption fee for the rarer MINK and BEW Ragdoll kittens.

A non-refundable deposit of $150 is required to reserve a kitten and will be deducted from the total adoption fee. The balance is due when your kitten is ready for pick-up.

The adoption fee includes EVERYTHING your kitten needs for his/her first year of life. Your kitten will be already "speutered" (spayed or neutered) with state-of-the-art anesthetic and surgical protocols, all vaccines and dewormings will be complete, your kitten will have had a physical by my vet along with a signed letter from him certifying that the kitten is in good health, and a health guarantee by contract will be provided. In addition, the registration paperwork from TICA will be available.

It is much too stressful for a kitten to experience such a frightening process. In addition, I prefer to meet and get to know each of my kitten caretakers! If driving to my location is not possible, many airlines will permit you to bring your kitten onboard in a carrier and be stowed underneath your seat for an additional charge. This is acceptable in some situations but must be discussed and approved in advance.

Because Ragdolls are so very popular, there is almost always a wait list for a kitten. To be placed on Jazzmania's wait list, a non-refundable deposit of $150.00 is required. You may use the "Buy Now" button below to make a deposit through Paypal. The funds may come from a bank account or credit card on your end if you do not have a PayPal account. You will then be added to Jazzmania's wait list immediately and on your way to adopting your very own Ragdoll kitten! You may also send a personal check or money order if you prefer. I do reserve the right to return your deposit if I feel your family is not a good match for one of my Ragdoll kittens.

Before making a deposit, please e-mail basic info for adoption approval to including: Do you have a Family? Children? Ages? Career/job? Other pets? Types, ages and sex? Do you have time to spend with a new kitten? What are your thoughts on declawing? Do you have a vet you feel comfortable working with? Where do you live? Please provide contact info including e-mail address and phone number. Anything else you care to share would be helpful and welcome!

Please make a note if you have a color/pattern preference and when the kittens are 6-7 weeks old, you will be invited to visit to choose your kitten based on order of deposit. You are always welcome to wait for the next litter if the color/pattern you prefer is not available or if the timing is not right for you and your family. Also, even if you specified a preference for color or pattern, you are not limited to that preference if you fall in love with another available kitten. I do not assign kittens to clients as it is not a great way to make a good match between kittens and families. And who knows - perhaps a kitten will choose YOU! At this appointment, information you need to know before taking your kitten home will be reviewed and printed information will also be provided. You will also be welcome to ask any additional questions you may have.

Of course, there will be one more visit to pick up your new kitten! All vaccine/deworming info, signed letter from my vet, the health guarantee, samples of your kitten’s favorite foods and a few of your kitten's favorite toys will be provided. Follow-up is extremely important as our association is not over after you pick up your baby. If you have any questions or concerns, I encourage you to e-mail at anytime. In fact, I specifically request at least one follow-up e-mail so that I can be assured that your kitten is well-adjusted and happy (as well as you!) It also provides the opportunity to address any additional questions you may have.
